Corinthia London has joined forces with iconic British bike-maker Brompton, to offer guests an alternative way to explore the city – on a brand-new fleet of electric and classic bicycles. Guests will saddle up to see the city’s offering from a new perspective in bespoke amber-coloured Corinthia designed bikes.

Corinthia London’s Managing Director, Thomas Kochs, comments he is delighted to have partnered with Brompton, an historic British brand, to provide the best seats in the house.

“I love hotels that have character and do things that make you smile.  Our electric bikes come at the right time with the Ultra-Low Emission Zone having just been introduced to Central London.  This is the future of exploring in big cities – it is hassle free and a fun way to travel. As we are located at the center of London’s landmarks there is certainly a lot to discover.”

The electric Brompton Bike provides a range of 50 miles per charge and will be available from the hotel’s concierge to all guests, with a fixed charging dock outside the entrance on Whitehall Place, Westminster.

Like all Bromptons, the ability to fold the bikes up is key which enables travellers to use multi modes of transport.

Julian Scriven, Managing Director of Brompton Bike, said “Corinthia London is the perfect choice for the company’s first collaboration. We are proud to partner with Corinthia London as we share a commitment to finding a solution to travel around London.” Julian continued, “Since 1975 Brompton Bike has led the way in sustainable travel and now we can take that to the next level with Corinthia on our side. This new partnership is a step in the right direction to support of the new Ultra-Low Emission Zone. We are dedicated to improve our carbon footprint.”

Corinthia London’s Brompton Bikes are available to use for all hotel guests, subject to availability.
