Corinthia has secured top honours in the 2026 Condé Nast Readers’ Choice Awards, with newly opened Corinthia Rome named the Number 1 hotel in the city in its first year of operation among Condé Nast Traveller’s UK readers, and Corinthia London climbing to the Number 1 position in London amongst the publication’s U.S. readers

8 October 2026 - Corinthia Hotels is proud to announce strong representation across the 2026 Condé Nast Readers’ Choice Awards U.S. and UK.

These accolades represent significant recognition for Corinthia’s growing international portfolio, particularly for Corinthia Rome, which has made a strong impression since opening in the Eternal City earlier this year.

The Condé Nast Readers’ Choice Awards are based on the experiences and opinions of Condé Nast Traveler readers in the U.S. and UK, making the two first-place rankings a direct endorsement from travellers.

Corinthia’s 2026 Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards recognitions include:

  • Corinthia Rome – #1, Hotels, Rome, UK Readers’ Choice Awards

Newly opened Corinthia Rome debuted at #1 in its category, marking an impressive first-year recognition for the Eternal City property.

  • Corinthia London – #1, World Hotels, London, U.S. Readers’ Choice Awards

Corinthia London moved up from #2 in 2025 to claim the top position in the World Hotels category, marking a notable year-over-year rise for the Whitehall flagship.

  • Corinthia London – #3, Hotels, London, U.K. Readers’ Choice Awards
    Corinthia London retained its #3 position among London hotels, matching its 2025 ranking and maintaining its place among the city’s leading properties.
  • Corinthia Grand Hotel Astoria Brussels – #3, Rest of Europe, U.K. Readers’ Choice Awards
    Following its extensive restoration, the Brussels landmark earned a top three position in the Rest of Europe category, marking a strong showing as the property enters its next chapter.

Additionally, Corinthia was also recognised in the 2026 MICHELIN Guide hotel selection, with four hotels awarded Two Michelin Keys and Corinthia Rome receiving its first Michelin Key in its opening year. MICHELIN Keys, the hotel counterpart to the MICHELIN Stars awarded to restaurants, recognise exceptional stays based on criteria including architecture and design, quality of service, character, value and connection to their surroundings.

Simon Naudi, Group CEO & Managing Director of Corinthia Group, said: “These awards are a testament to the standards, efforts and creativity of our Corinthia properties and teams around the world, across both the hotels we own and those we operate on behalf of third-party owners. We are grateful for the recognition given to us by such prestigious organisations.”

The five Corinthia properties recognised in the 2026 MICHELIN Guide Key selection, with four receiving Two MICHELIN Keys, are the following:

  • Corinthia London, retaining the Two-Key distinction first awarded in 2025;
  • Corinthia Grand Hotel Astoria Brussels, elevated from One Key to Two Keys;
  • Corinthia Grand Hotel du Boulevard Bucharest, retaining its Two-Key distinction;
  • The Surrey, A Corinthia Hotel in New York, elevated from One Key to Two Keys within its first year of operation;
  • Corinthia Rome; awarded One Key less than a year after opening its doors.

The awards recognise Corinthia properties across London, Brussels, Bucharest, New York, and Rome, spanning both established hotels and some of the Group’s newest openings.

Peter Roth, President of Hotel Operations, Corinthia Hotels, adds: “To be recognized by both the MICHELIN Guide and the readers of Condé Nast Traveler is a tremendous honour, and one that speaks to what we are building at Corinthia. Our vision of grand boutique hospitality brings together the individuality and sense of place of a truly distinctive hotel with the craftsmanship, generosity and sophistication of a grand hotel. At its heart, however, luxury remains deeply human; it is about genuine care, thoughtful experiences and creating moments that stay with our guests long after they leave. Each Corinthia has its own character, but all are connected by the Spirit of Corinthia and our purpose of uplifting lives. Above all, these recognitions belong to our colleagues, whose passion, creativity and attention to detail bring that promise to life every day.” said
