Palace Concerts presents a year-long programme of cultural entertainment across the historic Corinthia Palace, from the neoclassical grandeur of Villa Corinthia to the enchanting Secret Garden, nostalgic poolside setting and supper-club atmosphere of the Corinthia ballroom. Curated performances by leading Maltese and international musicians promise a season of chamber music, solo recitals and themed concerts, complemented by the fine gastronomy of Chef Francesco Mazzei.

An evening of music under the stars

There is something magical about music in summer, the softness of the evening air, the glow of lanterns, the quiet rustle of the garden. This special outdoor concert brings together a selection of uplifting and evocative classical works, performed in the enchanting setting of Secret Garden.

Designed as a gentle celebration of summer, the programme blends familiar favourites with moments of discovery. The music is warm, melodic, and full of colour, the kind of repertoire that invites you to relax, breathe, and simply enjoy being present.

As daylight fades and the garden settles into twilight, the music becomes part of the atmosphere itself, creating an experience that is both intimate and unforgettable.

Nova Sinfonietta is a Maltese chamber ensemble founded in 2023 by violinist Stefan Calleja, uniting outstanding young string players who have completed or are pursuing advanced studies abroad. Known for its vibrant sound and cohesive ensemble playing, the group performs repertoire ranging from Baroque and Classical works to Romantic and contemporary music and has quickly become a valued presence in Malta’s classical scene through appearances at major festivals and concert series. Supported by organisations including the BOV Joseph Calleja Foundation and the Janatha Stubbs Foundation, the ensemble champions emerging Maltese talent while presenting programmes that blend core masterpieces with imaginative new arrangements.
