Palace Concerts presents a year-long programme of cultural entertainment across the historic Corinthia Palace — from the neoclassical grandeur of Villa Corinthia to the enchanting Secret Garden, nostalgic poolside setting and supper-club energy of the Corinthia Ballroom. Thoughtfully curated performances by leading Maltese and international musicians promise a remarkable season of chamber music, solo recitals and themed concerts, perfectly complemented by the fine gastronomy of Chef Francesco Mazzei.

Secret Garden

A solo performance by Karol Aquilina

The guitar has a unique way of speaking directly to the soul - intimate, expressive and endlessly colourful. Alongside the concert, guests will enjoy a specially curated dinner menu by Secret Garden, designed for a slow summer evening under the stars.

In this summer concert, Maltese guitarist Karol Aquilina invites the audience into a world of warmth and refinement, performing a selection of classical and flamenco works that showcase the instrument’s lyrical beauty and rhythmic vitality.

Karol’s artistry is shaped by a rich musical heritage spanning three generations of guitarists. His playing blends technical mastery with deep emotional insight, offering interpretations that feel both personal and timeless.

This recital brings together beloved classics, evocative Spanish colours and moments of poetry, a perfect evening of music in magical Secret Garden.
