In partnership with world-renowned drinks expert, Salvatore Calabrese, Velvet is bringing back the theatre to cocktail-making with a menu that celebrates bygones past alongside the innovations of today.

New Year's Eve at Velvet

Celebrate the arrival of the New Year at Velvet with an evening of exceptional food, Champagne and celebration. Begin the night with a glass of Bollinger La Grande Année or a signature Spicy Fifty cocktail, before enjoying a specially curated tasting menu featuring indulgent dishes such as Aberdeen Angus beef tartare with Oscietra caviar, lobster tortellini and dark chocolate mousse. As midnight approaches, raise a glass of Bollinger Special Cuvée and enjoy the fireworks as you welcome 2027 in style.

Meet Salvatore Calabrese

Drinks expert and award-winning global powerhouse Salvatore Calabrese (aka ‘The Maestro’) is a bestselling author of 10 books and a former President of the United Kingdom’s Bartenders’ Guild. Salvatore has long been a consultant to the bar industry and selected brands, sharing his passion for the art of mixology with the world. Inspired by the Roaring Twenties, Calabrese aims to delight guests at Velvet with craft and passion in what he terms: ‘The Music of the Shake’.
