Meet Francesco

Raised in Calabria, Chef Francesco Mazzei grew up surrounded by the traditions and flavours of the Italian South. Over four decades, his craft has taken him from his family kitchen to Michelin-starred restaurants and luxury hotels. In 2019, he was awarded the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic for his promotion of Italian gastronomy. At Mezzogiorno, his heritage shines through in every soulful, refined dish.
