Responsible for supporting and executing the hotel’s marketing strategies, campaigns and brand communications across digital and traditional platforms, you will play a key part in increasing brand awareness, driving hotel business and ensuring the hotel’s positioning remains aligned with luxury standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Drive the implementation of marketing plans, promotions, and campaigns in alignment with brand guidelines and business objectives
  • Create and manage content for social media, from planning, copy creation and community management
  • Ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints, including visuals, tone of voice, and guest experience, maintaining the integrity of the brand identity
  • Plan, execute, and analyse email marketing campaigns for both B2B and B2C audiences, ensuring effective targeting, compelling storytelling, and measurable results
  • Manage guest databases and segmentation to support personalised and effective communication
  • Support loyalty programme communications to strengthen guest engagement and retention
  • Oversee the production of marketing collateral, coordinating with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely and high-quality delivery
  • Lead the planning and execution of brand activation initiatives, events, photo shoots and collaborations that strengthen brand awareness and guest engagement
  • Manage third-party listings and ensure accurate, appealing content across online travel agency (OTA)
  • Manage SEO, website content & performance and analytics, ensuring visibility, relevance and continuous improvement
  • Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns (digital and offline), providing insights and recommendations
  • Collaborate closely with PR and Sales teams to ensure cohesive messaging across all touchpoints
  • Monitor competitor activity and suggest opportunities for growth or improvement
  • Contribute creative ideas for seasonal promotions, packages and social media engagement
  • Assist with administrative duties including marketing budget tracking and invoices

  • Promptly report any defects or malfunctions in the building, plant, or equipment in accordance with the hotel’s established procedures

  • Immediately report any accidents involving staff, guests, or visitors, following the correct reporting protocols without delay

  • Attend all mandatory Fire, Health, and Safety training sessions and ensure full understanding of and compliance with all related procedures and regulations

As the hotel’s level of business fluctuates, flexibility in attitude, approach and working hours is required.

Experience

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in marketing, communications or branding, preferably within the hospitality or luxury lifestyle sector
  • Experience in managing content creation, digital marketing tools and supplier coordination

Skills & knowledge

  • Solid understanding of marketing principles and hospitality branding
  • Excellent writing and editing skills for marketing content creation
  • Proficiency in social media platforms, CMS tools (e.g., WordPress), and email marketing systems
  • Good eye for design and ability to brief and work with graphic designers
  • Familiar with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, or similar
  • Ability to multitask, meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly organised with attention to detail and a proactive mindset
  • Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Creative, trend-aware, and passionate about storytelling and visual branding

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality or a related field
  • Additional certification in digital marketing, social media or content strategy is a plus
  • Fluent in English; Portuguese and other languages are an advantage
  • Computer literacy: MS Office, Canva, or Adobe Creative Suite (basic knowledge)
