Corinthia Budapest is seeking a Duty Manager to oversee daily hotel operations and ensure the highest standards of guest service. As a key member of the Management Team, you will supervise staff, maintain operational excellence and represent the hotel with professionalism. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for delivering memorable guest experiences.

Key responsibilities:

  • Act as a key member of the Management Team overseeing all operational matters across the hotel
  • Ensure public areas are impeccably maintained and presentable at all times
  • Monitor staff presence, appearance and professionalism throughout the hotel
  • Inspire and support team members while fostering positive employee relations
  • Uphold and represent the hotel’s standards through guest interactions and public relations
  • Collaborate with the FLHSS Manager and Director of Engineering to maintain guest and colleague safety
  • Personally welcome and attend to VIP guests
  • Respond promptly to guest inquiries, resolve complaints and ensure proper follow-up
  • Authorise and manage compensations or adjustments when required

Experience

  • Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a five-star hotel
  • Exceptional guest service skills with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Fluent in English and Hungarian
  • University or college degree in a relevant field
  • Confident in using Opera hotel system and Microsoft Office applications
  • Consistently professional, both in individual conduct and as an ambassador of our brand
