Corinthia Budapest is looking for an ambitious, determined and highly motivated individual to join its Commercial team as Director of Sales – Corporate. Under the guidance of the Director of Sales & Marketing, the Director of Sales, the successful candidate will lead the Corporate Sales segment, drive revenue performance and develop strong relationships with key business partners while ensuring alignment with the hotel’s commercial strategy.

Tasks & Involvements:

  • Lead and develop the Corporate Sales team by setting clear objectives, guiding performance and driving revenue growth
  • Develop and maintain key corporate accounts through sales calls, networking and industry events
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across all relevant market segments
  • Plan and execute sales activities including sales calls, site inspections and sales blitzes
  • Handle corporate enquiries, including negotiations, contract preparation and closing of business
  • Negotiate contracts and renewals in line with the hotel’s commercial strategy
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to drive repeat business
  • Ensure seamless cooperation with internal departments (Front Office, Reservations, F&B, etc.) to deliver exceptional guest experience
  • Monitor sales performance and ensure achievement of monthly targets and KPIs
  • Support the execution of the Sales & Marketing Action Plan
  • Collaborate with regional sales offices and external partners to maximize business opportunities
  • Organise and host familiarisation visits for existing and potential clients
  • Oversee VIP arrivals and key client interactions in line with luxury service standards
  • Represent the Director of Sales & Marketing, the Director of Sales in their absence

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within a luxury 5-star hotel environment, with a strong focus on Corporate Sales
  • University or college degree
  • Established market knowledge and a solid network within the corporate segment
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills with a refined, professional approach
  • A results-driven and proactive mindset, with a passion for delivering exceptional performance
  • Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team
  • Confident and polished personal presentation, representing the brand with professionalism and integrity
