Sustainability philosophy

The Corinthia Oasis is a regeneration project that will take a brown-field, derelict and disused site and convert this into a top-tier Mediterranean resort that the island can truly be proud of.

One that aspires to green design standards and aims to achieve eco-certification from industry-leading
accreditation institutions.

Features will include:

  • Eco-gardens and green roofs
  • Natural climatisation solutions
  • Ventilation and thermal insulation systems
  • Heat recovery systems
  • Re-use of both rain and grey-water
  • Onsite green transport and cycle paths
  • Intelligent, energy-efficient & low-impact lighting
  • Site-wide waste management systems

Landscaping philosophy

Situated in the particularly fertile Pwales Valley, the site offers a unique opportunity to create an especially lush type of development.

Following a detailed landscape survey of the site, the resort masterplan was designed around the existing indigenous mature trees in order to incorporate them into the project from the outset. Our intention is to greatly increase the number of these in the resort within the public and private gardens on the site.

wellness and leisure

Immersed in nature

One of our guiding principles at the Corinthia Oasis is to gently nudge guests and residents towards ever-healthier lifestyles.

From the project’s location, to the plethora of health, wellness, sports and leisure activities on the site, the project has prioritised its future users’ wellbeing from the outset.

We plan to deliver this philosophy against an enviable backdrop of stunning beaches, crystalline blue seas, tall trees, fresh air and birdsong.
