Simon Naudi is the CEO of International Hotels Investments [IHI] plc, the publicly traded holding company for Corinthia. He joined the company in 1997 to lead international hotel and real estate acquisitions and developments, before being tasked with responsibility for the brand and hotel operations too in 2014. In recent years, he has expanded the company’s footprint into major European capitals, as well as the Middle East and the USA.
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Michael started his hospitality career working and training in kitchens in the UK, before moving into accountancy and relocating to Malta, first joining Corinthia in 1996. After a spell at another Maltese development company, he returned to Corinthia as Director of Finance, leading the Corinthia London acquisition and opening. He currently oversees both operational and development finance departments, IT and procurement, is MD for investments in London and Belgium and serves on the Northbank Board of Directors, as well as being Director on the audit committee for Global Hotel Alliance. Outside of the travel world, he still retains his passion for food and is an avid martial artist.
CHIEF CULTURE OFFICER
Franco Valletta first joined Corinthia 1996 - 1999, before spending time as Chairman of the historic Mediterranean Conference Centre, board member of the Malta Tourism Authority and Malta Philharmonic Orchestra. among other advisory and senior roles. He re-joined Corinthia in 2012, and holds academic achievements including a Doctorate in Business Administration from SDA Bocconi School of Management of Bocconi University.

Christian Renz joined Corinthia in November 2019, following a career including roles at Marriott, Starwood. He has since held senior roles with The Walt Disney Company, Kempinski Hotels and Rocco Forte Hotels, and has an MBA from Reims Management School.

DEVELOPMENT
As a member of the founding and owning family, Paul Pisani has spent his full career with Corinthia Hotels, joining the company straight from university in 1990. He has held roles including Group Marketing Manager, Regional Director of Operations based in Turkey, Director of Business Development and Vice President of Development before taking on his current role in 2010. He also sits on a number of Corinthia-related boards.
DIRECTOR OF ENGINEERING & TECHNICAL SERVICES
Joseph Restall joined Corinthia in 2018, after an engineering career which has seen him working for Hilton Malta, in advisory roles for government policy and as a consultant in engineering, advanced manufacturing, product design and process engineering. His advisory roles have included developing the national hotel sustainability tracking system for Malta, and he has was won numerous awards for sustainability, including for the Best European Project in Microelectronics Development in 2016.
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Ignace Bauwens joined Corinthia in 2021 having worked in various hospitality groups over the years, most recently in the Gulf. Earlier engagements include roles as CEO of Abu Dhabi National Hotels, Vice President Operations at IHG with responsibility for the UAE, Middle East and Africa, as well as Senior Vice President (Hotels & Hospitality Development) with the Dubai World Trade Centre. He also spent almost ten years working for Accor holding various positions from Director of F&B to Vice President (Operations). He holds a bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management from HTI in Brugge, Belgium.
