Corinthia St Petersburg is proud to announce that Mr Eric Pere has been appointed the hotel’s new general manager.
Eric Pere has come back to Corinthia St Petersburg after managing various other Corinthia properties, such as Corinthia Prague. He used to manage five-star Corinthia St Petersburg from 2011 to 2014.
Leading the award-winning and well-established Corinthia St Petersburg, Mr Pere will be responsible for the hotel’s ongoing performance and continued revenue growth, ensuring the optimal level of guest and employee satisfaction, as St Petersburg continues to attract a constantly increasing amount of leisure and MICE tourism from all over the world.

Mr Pere is a well-seasoned hotelier with over 35 years of in-depth luxury hotel experience. Originally from France, Mr Pere brings a global outlook to the position of the general manager. His illustrious hospitality career has spanned more than three decades at worldwide five-star luxury destinations including key roles with Orient Express (now Belmond), Fairmont, the Savoy Group and InterContinental Hotels Group. Working his way up within the industry and earning a reputation as an engaging and energetic leader, Mr Pere remains passionate about true hospitality, quality and service as well as working alongside dynamic team members. He has worked in different departments and positions including development, finance, food and beverage, rooms division and as general manager in various destinations, such as Monaco, French Polynesia, the Caribbean, London, Miami, South Africa, Baku and Prague.
Corinthia St Petersburg is an internationally acknowledged five-star hotel, built from three majestic 19th-century buildings located at the heart of Nevsky Prospect, the city’s main thoroughfare. Corinthia St Petersburg houses 388 elegant rooms and suites; refined hospitality, superior service and modern luxury are at the core of this hotel. It was acquired by Corinthia Hotels in 2002 and underwent an extensive renovation and expansion in 2009 with around 100 million euros of investment. In 2018, the hotel completed a large-scale, multi-million two-year investment project aimed at updating the design of guestrooms and lobby.
Corinthia St Petersburg is the only five-star property which offers such a large number of rooms and event spaces in the historical city centre of St. Petersburg. The hotel offers 17 adaptable event spaces with a total capacity of up to 1,000 people. It caters for a variety of events, including international conferences, sumptuous banquets, private weddings and high-end events.
The hotel has been recognised as Russia’s Leading Conference Hotel by the World Travel Awards seven times: in 2019, 2018, 2017, 2016, 2013, 2012 and 2011. In addition, for the last two consecutive years, the hotel has also scooped ‘Russia's Leading Business Hotel’ and ‘Russia's Leading Hotel Suite’ at this event, dubbed "The Oscars of the Travel Industry." In addition, the hotel was named ‘Best Congress Hotel in St Petersburg’ by the Russian Business Travel & MICE Awards in October 2015, and was named by the Russian Hospitality Awards as the ‘Best MICE hotel in Russia’ in February 2016.
