Corinthia Hotel Budapest’s Far Eastern restaurant Rickshaw is staging its annual Gourmet Festival this weekend, between 17th-20th May 2018.
The 2018 Festival has to surpass last year’s, when Rickshaw presented the unforgettable crocodile rendang.
This year’s theme showcases the colour, family style and the breadth of flavours synonymous with Far Eastern cuisine. Chef Yang Zhi Jun and his team has created selections of dim-sums for guests to taste the best of the Far East, including meat, seafood and vegetarian options.
“In a festival like this, guests would like to experience as many flavours and cuisines as they can, so our dim-sum dishes span every nation’s small plates, such as Spanish Tapas, Turkish Mezze or Japanese Sushi,” said Chef Yang Zhi Jun “Tasting small bites brings people together and presents them with new flavours minute by minute.”
Yang Zhi Jun has run Corinthia’s Rickshaw restaurant for over 14 years, during which time it has regularly won Michelin Guide’s recommendation rating. Specialising in Chinese, Japanese, Indonesian, Thai and other Far Eastern cuisine, Rickshaw offers a perfect excursion to the world of Asian flavours spiced with Far Eastern mentality.
The Rickshaw pavilion is located at Millenáris for the four-day event.
