Our award-winning kitchen brigade secured eight awards at the recent Malta Kulinarja Cooking and Culinary Arts Championships. Held at the Malta Fairs and Conventions Centre in Ta Qali, the event attracted chefs who competed across a vast range of categories. Speaking after the championships, Corinthia Palace executive chef Stefan Hogan said: "We are very pleased with the fantastic results achieved by our brigade. As a hotel, we believe in encouraging our team to enter into competitions such as this one, as it gives them a chance to challenge themselves, be creative and step outside their comfort zone."
Hotelympia, the UKs most prestigious hospitality and food service event, bestowed a clutch of medals on the kitchen brigade from Corinthia Palace Hotel & Spa. The four-day event included a competition to award top culinary skills and Corinthia Palace Hotel chefs walked away with a total of 13 medals, including two gold, three silver and eight bronze medals. “I am delighted for my team,” said chef Hogan, “they are amazing results.” The tally of 13 medals at this year’s Hotelympia improves on the eight secured at the last event, in 2016.
