On June 8th 2019 Corinthia St Petersburg was recognised as “Russia’s Leading Conference Hotel” for the record seventh time by the World Travel Awards which acknowledges outstanding achievements in the tourism industry around the world. In addition, for the second time in a row, the hotel also scooped “Russia's Leading Business Hotel” and “Russia's Leading Hotel Suite” at this event, dubbed "The Oscars of the Travel Industry".
These outstanding successes are a reflection of the exceptional professionalism delivered by the hotel’s team for more than 15 years. Corinthia St Petersburg prides itself on representing the very best of European hospitality and modern luxury in the Russian cultural capital.

In 2018, the hotel completed a large-scale renovation, updating the lobby and guestrooms to offer 388 premium rooms and suites designed for the discerning modern traveller, as well as 17 venues for events for up to 1,000 people and several food and beverage outlets.
Corinthia St Petersburg is the only five-star property with such a large number of rooms and event spaces in the historical city centre. The hotel caters for a variety of events, including international conferences, sumptuous banquets, private weddings and high-end events.
For offering the best hospitality in Russia’s cultural capital, Corinthia St Petersburg was previously named "Russia’s Leading Conference Hotel" by the World Travel Awards in 2018, 2017, 2016, 2013, 2012 and 2011. In addition, the hotel was named “Best Congress Hotel in St. Petersburg” by the Russian Business Travel & MICE Awards in October 2015, and was recognised by the Russian Hospitality Awards as the “Best MICE hotel in Russia” in February 2016.
Corinthia St Petersburg was acquired by Corinthia Hotels in 2002 and underwent a huge renovation and expansion in 2009 with around €100,000,000 of investment. It is one of the Corinthia Hotels’ collection of five-star hotels founded by the Pisani family of Malta in 1962.
