The two Corinthia hotels meet the European criteria for five-star rated hotels with above average bedroom sizes, a state of the art fitness centre, on-site spa services, great acoustic comfort, fine dining facilities and staff who speak at least two languages. In addition, the hotels met an additional 80 requirements laid out by the European Finest Hotels organisation, including: adherence to accessibility norms, air quality, culinary options for vegetarians or allergy sufferers, a business centre with up-to-date technology and full business services, fine furnishings, exceptional surroundings, originality of architecture and interior design.

European Finest Hotels stated that they were greatly honoured to award the two Corinthia Hotels the title of ‘European Finest Hotel’, marking them as two of the finest properties in Europe.

Commenting on the awards, Corinthia Hotels CEO Simon Naudi said “We are absolutely delighted to receive this double accolade of having not one, but two of our top properties join such a prestigious and restricted list of European top hotels. This is a clear statement that the introduction of our all-encompassing ‘Craftsmanship of Care’ philosophy of maintaining superior levels of quality uniformly throughout all our properties, be they in London, Budapest or elsewhere, is paying dividends.”
