11th April 2014 - GCC residents travelling to London over the summer can now enjoy the best the city has to offer feeling energized and vibrant thanks to an enhanced focus on their quality of sleep.
The five-star Corinthia Hotel London is combining forces with medically-trained experts to offer guests the best possible night’s rest with The Power of Sleep – an initiative which will see the hotel given over to the theme of sleep starting in May.

Corinthia London General Manager Matthew Dixon said: “We are in the business of selling sleep and this project highlights all the reasons to choose Corinthia Hotel London to wind down, relax, and get a quality night’s rest. After all if we sleep well, we perform well the following day, and whether guests are here on demanding business trips or for a leisure stay, they want to feel on top form.”

A number of overnight Sleep packages, developed in partnership with medically-trained experts to offer guests the best possible night’s rest, include one-to-one consultations with sleep experts, novel spa treatments, a menu of wind-down food and drinks designed by a nutritionist and room comforts.
The Power of Sleep launches on 12th May with the première of two short films about sleep as part of the hotel’s latest Artist in Residence program and includes:

The Sleep Expert

Physiologist Dr Guy Meadows of The Sleep School, and author of ‘The Sleep Book: How to Sleep Well Every Night’, will be offering guests one-to-one sleep coaching consultations by appointment. His approach is based on mindfulness techniques and use of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Handouts by Dr Guy Meadows with top tips for good sleep will be distributed in the hotel.
