Both Valletta and Sliema are shopping centres and can be reached by means of our courtesy coach or by taxi.

Shops are usually open between 09.00hrs to 13.00hrs and from 16.00hrs to 19.00hrs. Shops are not open on Sundays and public holidays.

There are open-air markets, one day a week, in most towns and villages. The largest being the Valletta market and Marsaxlokk (fish)market on Sunday mornings. Major credit cards, travellers cheques and Eurocheques are accepted at most leading shops and restaurants.

The Corinthia Palace Hotel is centrally located in the middle of the island, only 3 km to the Medieval city of Mdina and 5 km to the capital city  Valletta.

One can use the public buses (a bus stop is situated just outside the Hotel, taxis, car hire and our courtesy bus which is offered free of charge to the Capital City of Valletta, Sliema, Golf Course and the Casino.
