A right royal residence!
Buckingham Palace is the official London residence and workplace of the British Monarch, dating from 1705, with later additions, it became the official Royal Palace when Queen Victoria ascended to the throne in 1837. The State Rooms are open to the public every Summer during the months of August and September, whilst The Queen's Gallery is open all year round, and The Royal Mews from Easter until October.
